Competition Ts & Cs

5.1 The radio station and the promoter will not be held responsible for any SMS charges, data charges,
phone costs, or any other costs incurred while participating in this competition.
5.2 The judge’s decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
5.3 The radio station and the promoter will not be held liable for entries not received for any reason
whatsoever and will not be responsible for network connectivity or hardware issues experienced
while participating.
5.5 If a finalist or winner chosen does not comply with all terms and conditions, their entry will be
disqualified.
5.6 In the event that a winner cannot be successfully contacted, is ineligible to accept the prize, or
contravenes the terms and conditions of this competition or of the radio station and promoter, the
prize will be forfeited.
5.7 The prize will be paid via an EFT, and the winners will need to provide a valid South African ID
and proof of bank account to be paid.
5.8 The prize is not transferrable.
5.9 The radio station and promoter reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these
terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to participants
as soon as possible by the promoter.
5.10 Directors, members, partners, employees, or agents of, or consultants or any other person who
directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter or any supplier of goods or services in
connection with the competition or the spouse, life partner, business partner or any immediate
family members and/or those living in the same household of each of the aforementioned are not
permitted to enter the competition.
5.11 We must process your personal information to validate your entry and if you are a Prize winner,
to make the Prize available to you. By entering the Competition, you consent to us processing your
personal information for this purpose. If you do not consent, please do not enter the Competition.
5.11 By entering this competition, a participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these
terms and conditions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you indemnify the Promoter, its
affiliates, its advertising agencies, advisers, and agents against any and all claims, damages or loss by
you in relation to your participation in this Competition and/or acceptance and/or use by you of a
prize.
Processing of Personal Information
Any personal information of the entrants and winners (“Personal Information”) will be processed and
stored securely by the Promoter in accordance with their internal policies and the Protection of
Personal Information Act 2013 (“POPIA”). The Promoter will use your Personal Information only for
the purposes of fulfilling obligations and/or exercising rights pursuant to these terms and conditions,
to comply with the Promoter’s legal obligations and for compatible purposes. The Promoter may
process your Personal Information strictly as is necessary for the competition and the purposes set
out in these terms and conditions. The Promoter will share your Personal Information with affiliates
within its group of companies, agents and with third party service providers, some of which are located
outside of the Republic of South Africa, strictly as is necessary to fulfil its obligations and/or exercise
its rights under these terms and conditions. The Promoter will ensure that any such third parties who
process your Personal Information on its behalf shall take measures to protect your Personal
Information in accordance with the requirements of POPIA. Any queries or complaints regarding the
processing of your Personal Information may be sent to the promoter. All entrants
and winners are required to ensure that any Personal Information submitted as part of the
competition is complete, accurate and up to date, and the Promoter must be notified promptly in the
event of any updates to the Personal Information.
